Our 55-Year Reunion
We celebrated our 55th reunion Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16, 2019, with several venues offering congenial, relaxed activities, most of them featuring historic and scenic Buffalo.
On Friday we met at RiverWorks, a lakeside arts, entertainment, and concert venue with a brewery. On Saturday, we met at The Terrace at Delaware Park, a restaurant and bar overlooking Hoyt Lake and offering walking access to Delaware Park, the Albright-Knox art gallery, the Buffalo History Museum, and the Burchfield Penney Art Center. On Saturday night we gathered at the Hydraulic Hearth, a happy hour and dinner destination across from the Larkin Building. And on Sunday, we had a farewell brunch at the Reikart House hotel, on the site of the old Lord Amherst, where many of the out-of-towners were staying.
Also on Saturday was a choice of many Buffalo historic and cultural tours, which we were encouraged to sign up for on our own, or join up with like-minded classmates.
A thorough and loving description of all the venues was diligently compiled by Lee Broad in the Reunion Details document that we sent to all our classmates and provide at the bottom of this page. But first...
